Why Choose Cross Creek?

The Cross Creek Advantage

As A Grower and Retailer, We're Able To Give Excellent Advice On The Plants Sold At Our Garden Centers.

Cross Creek Nursery grows many of the annuals, perennials, trees, shrubs, and groundcover offered at our nursery locations. Our team of skilled growers raises plants from seed, cuttings, or plugs to supply our nurseries with quality inventory for the community to enjoy.

At our Midlothian nursery, a small team grows many of our annual flowers along with our yearly poinsettia crop. Out in Nottoway county, another wing of the production team takes care of nearly 100 acres of trees and shrubs. North of the James River in Hanover county, a different team grows groundcover, perennials, and annuals.

By growing ourselves locally, we’re able to offer healthy plants acclimated to the central Virginia region. We also have the ability to grow unique crops and supply large quantities to local contractors and businesses.

Meet Your Designer

The first visit is the where the vision takes shape. Your designer will come to your home to take measurements and study the grade of the property, available sunlight along with any drainage concerns.
Trained to listen, consider every aspect, and adhere to a budget, together we will formulate a plan. When you're ready to go forward, the designer will draft a custom CAD drawing for you. There is a $200 fee collected during the initial visit for the consult and design, which is credited back to you if you choose Cross Creek Landscaping to do your installation.

Time To Prepare

Preparing the foundation of any project is a key step in the process. During this time your property will be marked by all local utilities, and your materials will be ordered.
Any custom hardscape materials will be evaluated and prepared for installation. We carefully select all plants, trees and shrubs that are to be planted. Many of the plants we use are grown at our Nottoway farm, so our plants are already acclimated to this area. That sets them up for success when transplanting.

Time For Your Approval

You will have the chance to sign-off on your design once you are 100% satisfied. Before any work begins, we will review the design with you and your project manager on site.
Our crew will inform your neighbors to let them know we'll be working in the area, and your designer and foreman will be working together to keep you informed throughout the process. Once the job is complete and any final adjustments have been made, we'll do a walk thru to make sure you are thrilled with the outcome.

Our Customer Concierge

Once your installation is finished, your warranty process begins. Read below about our Landscape and Hardscape guarantees below for more information.
Joann, our customer concierge will visit to make sure your plants are thriving and have adjusted to their new location. Our customer care continues the next season, as we assess your yard to see if any perennials, trees or shrubs need replacing after their first season.
