A deciduous tree that will grow up to 6 to 8 feet tall and spread up to 12 feet wide with weeping branches.  Known for it’s gorgeous purple leaves in spring, turning in September and October to its fall colors that can include a spectacular combination of shades of yellow, reds and purples.  Plant sun to part shade, keep out of late afternoon sun which can burn leaves.  Water regularly, more in extreme heat.
