Dark red leaves emerge in spring and age to dark purplish green, contrasting nicely to the vibrant pink flowers that emerge in the summer.  Compact, multi-stemmed form is ideal for use as an accent shrub or in a garden bed.  Can grow up to 12′ high and 12′ wide.  Fast grower.  Plant in full sun and well draining soil.
