Every perennial garden needs this plant—-easy care, low water, full sun, long blooming period, a beautiful wave of violet blue color. Best to plant several in a row, will lock together forming a continuous band if planted on 2’ centers. After the April/ May blooms fade, chop back with hedge shears about 10” from ground for an encore of color later in the summer.
