Paw Paw Tree 3′

This tree will produce a green oblong fruit that is custard like with a flavor profile of banana, pineapple and mango combination.  It is a hardy tree that can adapt to poor soils.  The trees start to produce fruits within three years.   Pawpaw’s prefer soil with plenty of compost and organic matter.  Place in area with morning-mid-day sun, avoiding the harsh afternoon sun.  They can grow up to 40′ in height.  Paw paws require cross-pollination so more than one is necessary to produce fruit.
